April 21 Crazy cold so I will groom the Boogie one last time and shut heat off to the lodge, we will not be grooming again.
Please try to stay off freshly groomed skate lanes. You will notice that for an hour or two after grooming, the snow is still soft and skating under these conditions can create ruts that will freeze in place. Careful classical skiing doesn't impact the trails as much. So please help us to maintain good conditions (especially when we renovate icy conditions and grooming is especially difficult) by trying to not to skate on fresh grooming. If possible, use other trails or classical ski and we will try to indicate (here) when we are grooming and groom in the evenings and early mornings. But hey, if you drove all the way up there and everything is freshly groomed and you only have skate gear ..... go skiing! Road camera Hwy 40.
